cundus informationCollector
Structured and Unstructured Information:
Collection, Consolidation, and Analysis throughout the Enterprise Hierarchy (SAP NetWeaver® Application)
Today, it is imperative for the modern management of companies and corporations, that both structured (for example, figures) as well as unstructured information (for example, texts and comments) is collected, consolidated, and analyzed throughout the company hierarchy.
Examples of this include strategic company planning, quality reporting, reports regarding the adherence to GRC rules, environmental data, trend analyses with comments, risk analyses, comments within the scope of planning and deviation analyses, and HR information. In other words, management information for which figures alone have little or no significance.
Only 15 % of business-relevant information exists in a structured form. Nevertheless, the majority of software solutions focus on purely quantitative reports and evaluation possibilities.
With cundus informationCollector you have a solution that supports the following within the SAP environment:
- the collection, consolidation, reporting, and analysis of structured and unstructured information along the company hierarchy
- the process for rolling out user-friendly input forms
- the monitoring and control of the overall process for collection, release, and consolidation by way of a traffic light system.
cundus informationCollector is installed on the SAP application server. Both its user interface and handling are based on state-of-the-art SAP NetWeaver® technology. The software is completely integrated with the authorization concept of the SAP® Enterprise Portal. Furthermore, the storage of result documents is possible at any time in the SAP® Enterprise Portal. Both the data and the business logic of cundus informationCollector are stored centrally in the SAP® Business Warehouse. Data Integration from SAP R/3, Hyperion, Oracle etc. is also possible.
Overview
Use of cundus informationCollector enables unique capabilities for creating a web-based information entry solution that is completely tailored to meet your specific needs from individual forms and form sets that you have put together. When doing this, it is irrelevant which sort of information you want to collect in a structured manner within your organization. Already during the compilation, you can give the form sets area-specific characteristics that take the varying information content of the individual areas into consideration.
The integrated Web Reporting and Excel/PDF Export function enables you to deliver the collected information both cross-area as well as per department. Data export interfaces into other SAP and IT systems can also be implemented.
The information entry Workflow is monitored by the integrated process monitor and enables active control of the illustrated collection process for those responsible for the business process. The integrated process control handles the locking and aggregation of already completed input forms on the basis of the form status information.
cundus informationCollector is not only able to aggregate the entered form data. This data can also be checked for consistency even at the lowest entry levels according to predefined validation rules and compared with existing information in integrated SAP systems. The manual summarization of text information is also supported during aggregation. Thanks to the well thought-out form administration, both data content as well as the input forms are versioned, meaning that information remains comprehensible and reliable.
